Safety Surf ed

Safety rules for the beach

1. swim between the flags

At a beach with lifeguards there are usually two flags. You should always swim between the flags because that's where the lifeguards look and if you are out of the flags and start to drown the lifeguards might not see you.👍

2. Have an adult watch over you

When you are at the beach, swimming pool or river you need a adult to watch over you because they will help keep you safe.👪

3. Listen to the advice from surf lifeguards

The surf lifeguards at the beach know about the sea and the beach. you should always listen to the lifeguards and if you don't you won't know what to do.👍

4. never swim or surf alone

When you go into the water you should have someone with you so you can keep each other safe.👍

5. If in doubt stay out

If you are at the beach without lifeguards and you don't feel comfortable don't go in the water.👍
